Amplitude Modulation

It, in some format, has been around since the mid seventies. Always a forward thinking student run radio station. Little heard but mighty tunes coming from deep in the middle of the city.

Moving to Los Angeles many years back I found this cool ass KSCR station on AM of all places. On AM 1560 out of the University of Southern California...and then I forgot about it. Anyway, found it the other month and was blown away all over again. Rockin' and rippin' and punkin' and rappin'.

Amazing shows that dig deep into the record bins. Beer and Reggae is one of the greatest reggae shows I've heard. And I grew up on the Spliff Skankin'show up out of Berkeley. He was well know around the Bay Area and always had the 4'oclock roadblock of rare Marley cuts. Super roots riddims reggae irie show with and a great local and student following.

Turn the dial and enjoy the skankin' on a Thursday night, seen?
