Those stairways used to be for people to make their way to the PE streetcars I believe...It was for a time when people still WALKED in LA as opposed to just driving. Perhaps one day, those stairs will be used regularly again by everyday folks.
Thats a beauty. I have two stairways on either side of the hill I straddle
