Blooms Daily
You got the Winter Blues. And don't want to drive a couple hours in traffic up the I-5.
What's up Doc?
Well, take a stroll. Take a hike. Take a walk. Or by bike. Around the hills and observe the wonderful wildflower blooms. Check out the wild mustard strip on an El Sereno hill. Looks like a painting! You could even saute some of those mustard seeds with garlic and oil. Then, look down. All around you are hundreds of purple flowers. Lupine maybe? Breathe in and breathe out. Take once or twice daily.

Yes, the purple / blue flowers blooming now are lupin.
Here's a selection of "borrowed" photos of Texas bluebonnets (lupin) that I put together a few years ago: http://www.oxy.edu/~rodney/bluebonnets
Whoa! Amazing Lupin pictures on your site Sir Rodney.
These are lovely photos and wildflowers have made a comeback that pleases me to no end.. I often walk in Debs Park.
A little story..I had a friend who rented out his home in Montecito Heights to a gentleman whose german relatives were involved with that Rashneesh group in Oregon. When the lRashneesh leader was arrested and the group disbanded, a bunch headed towards the MH property. I came by to find a ton of pink laundry (they all wore shades of pink) drying on the clothesline.
a pleasure to discover your blog
