Chalk

Surprising how little the Arroyo gets tagged up. When I first went down there, I expected it to see angry graffiti everywhere. But what a pleasant surprise.

The other day, I found this on the wall down by the stables. A different kind of graffiti. A lovely chalk mural. It's nice to see some sunny and happy art for once! Wonder if it is there still?

Autumn Art

Yep, the seasons sure are changing. Even the graffiti trees are losing their leaves. And getting a little grumpy about it.

Pretty cool art on an ol' Arroyo dumpster.

Autumn

Beautiful time of the year down in the the Arroyo Seco. Golden hues. Honey yellow tones. Shades of amber.

Don't tell me the concrete makes it ugly. Nor does the small dirty green stream of water that runs down the middle. It's all wonderful. And we are lucky to live so close to it.

Cali

This sign keeps losing letters since I posted it a year or more ago. But only the third letter. Except the one word that needs it.

As I've said before, them walls inside gots some good stories to tell I bet.

Formulate

Hard to read but a cardboard sign appeared the other day. Fairly high up on a telephone pole at the bottom of the hill. All it says is "Prepare!".

For what?
When?
How?

Will let everyone know when I know.

Altered Jester

Poof. No more clown! She or he is now gone in a cloud of fairy dust. Funny how they found a way to keep a peace sign, but I already kinda miss the ol' funky Jester.

Wonder why the drastic change of the storefront art? New business plan? Too many kids were getting scared? Early Halloween decoration? Did not expect the theme of the sign to change so rapidly, and so differently.

Jester

Where does this clown live? Is he a she or she a he? What's up with the heart covering an eye? Love the peace sign on his chin.

Random art in Montecito Heights. Went by the other day and I think they have changed it up. What does it all mean?
