Rock On

Wandered up a random hill the other day and found a little dirt trail. At the midway point, I came to a nice little outdoor living room.

I sat in the rocker for an hour or so. Enjoyed the sunny million dollar views for free, picked up some trash, and continued on.

As I've always said, no better place around than these hills.

Kickoff

Spectacular images captured by Martha Benedict, a local on the hill, of the first solar panel going up.

Those panels are huge! Great shade on a hot sunny day.

Think there are two up by now. Mixed emotions. We'll see what happens.

Francisco's

Found at a La Canada estate sale. Old school front striking style.

Anyone ever heard of Francisco's? Was it good?

Anew

Before

After

Yeah! The great Rodriguez market has repainted their mural again. So cool to see a bunch of kids the other day putting the finishing touches on the mural. Finishing up the Eagle.

Leave it the hell alone this time taggers. Millions of concrete to tag, go somewhere else. If for no one else, do it for these kids who put in their final days of summer to make their neighborhood look nice again.

Sprouts

Montecito Heights raised bed style. Nature's way.

Looks like she's growing some "coyote melons".

And looks like an ol' Datsun pickup?
