Colors

After a storm comes a calm. And a rainbow.

Looks like the pot o' gold is down on Monte Vista or Marmion. Go seek!

Rushing

The Arroyo has been rocking and rolling lately. Flowing heavy. A lot of debris up on the pathway too. Pics from the first storm this week.

Can only imagine how flooded it is right now.

Distant

Continuing with the Museum affair. A great collector of archaeological artifacts. As seen through the trees with our hills in the distance.

Wish they would really let the place open up again. At the very least do it for the local kids.

Continue the knowledge. Lummis would be proud.

Inside

A friend's buddy got me a special walkthru of the tower in the Southwest Museum last weekend. Strictly off limits to the public.

I took a couple pics but not too many as I didn't want to be that guy. Just wanted to enjoy it and try to imagine the past. When you could look out the tower's windows and see nothing but hills and some small shacks. No freeway. Flowing Arroyo. And wonderful sunrises over Montecito Heights.

Only wished I could have spent the whole night in the tower. Beautiful.

Constant

Almost 100 years old. And the exterior hasn't changed much. Great place. Great landmark. Great history.

Hope it presides over the Arroyo for another century.
