No

There is a sizeable gay population in Montecito Heights and supposedly it was even bigger back in the day. I feel sad for them that laws cannot just leave people alone, let them live life like you would like to live life. Even the taggers got their say in last year.

Anyways, here are two points of view on the debate...

Playing Possum

Came across this little guy in broad daylight one day. All scared up against a wall. He was pretty beat up, maybe from a coyote or some other animal.

Yes they are kinda ugly and dirty and strange but I still felt super sad seeing him all confused and hurt as I drove by. Hope he made it to another day.

Petty

Graffiti sucks. Especially when it hits a random house's garage. Caught in the crossfire.

Tagged on Sunday by what looks like a LH gang.

Tagged over on Monday by the local Aves.

Luckily the rain took off most of the paint by this morning.

Locals Only

Many people don't know we have a ski resort right under our noses out here in NorthEast Los Angeles. 45 min car ride on Highway 2 and you can be flying down black diamond hills. It has this cool local feel and is fairly cheap as far as ski resorts go.

As you go up the 2, you get an AMAZING Los Angeles view all the way to Catalina and beyond.

Continue up the 2 and you will soon start to see the snow on the ground. Don't drive too fast and miss the small parking lot and lift just off the side of the road!

You know it is a local LA spot when the slopes map is tagged.

Empty and beautiful.

NO lines, NO annoying too-cool-for-school workers and EMPTY runs. Don't think I will ever go back to Big Bear.

With more snow on the way this weekend, it might be a good time to check it out! Call 818-790-2002 to hear the updated daily snow report.

Cornered

So much country beauty up here. Beautiful street corners that always catch my eye. Especially the ones where you cannot see any evidence of development. The paved road corners are great but the unpaved ones are even better! Hope they never change.

I am sure everyone has their own your favorites, but here are some of mine...
