A dark Honda Civic '93-'94 coupe raced a Ford Mustang a couple weeks ago at Ave 38 and Griffin Avenue on a rainy downpour night. The Mustang and the Honda were neck and neck speeding when the Honda accelerated, pulled in front of the Mustang, and immediately braked.

The Mustang swerved, lost control and struck two parked cars, a light pole, the concrete wall, the iron fence, and killed the driver. The Honda driver kept on going.

19 year old kid killed a 19 year old girl. Over what? Sad.

This River

Came across this gathering the other night. Packed to the gills and spilling out onto Fig and Ave 59. A girl yelled out "Welcome, you finally came to my part of town!" as her friends crossed the street. Exactly.

Good to see art continuing to prosper around here. Called simply This.

And better yet, what a beautiful warm night to go home along the river and up a hill.

About a week ago ol' Phil saw his shadow. Guess he was right. This storm was stronger than that overhyped early one.

It was so amazing to see vibrant white snow down low on the mountains.

An old hollowed out skeleton of an arcade game. Up on the top of Montecito Drive.

Wonder if it was Frogger or Defender or ? Wonder what happened to the insides?

Almost took it home with me and, I don't know, planted plants in it or something.
