Ocean View Properties
What do you get when you stand on top of Montecito Heights and take a blurry photo? See that small bright area in the middle of frame?
You get a bigfootesque picture of the ocean view from our hills!
It can actually be seen from multiple parts of the hills, only on clear days and only late in the afternoon when the sun brightly reflects off the ocean.

Scary II
Early January shot of the open land and rusty car in question.
Greenish recent winter grass and wispy blue Montecito Heights skies.
Please read the letter below and do whatever you can to keep open spaces open!
Hi All,
Recently I was contacted by an individual who has purchased two parcels of land on which he plans to build a multilevel structure with pool and home recording studio out in the open spaces next to Flat Top.
Though I informed him that this area has none of the required infrastructure (sewer lines, electrical, water or even a paved street) he seems intent on continuing.
This area is one of the last remaining open spaces in Los Angeles. If he succeeds in building on this location, it will pave the way for other developers to do the same and we will lose a very integral part of our community. I have invited the new land owner to our MHIA meeting on Mar. 17, Montecito Heights Rec Center at 7 p.m.
I urge all who care about protecting our beloved Flat top and open spaces to attend.

Scary
Would you want to see this old rusty car get an ugly double lot huge multilevel neighbor?
Would you want the lovely brown Fall grass and perfectly blue Los Angeles sky to be blocked?
Would you want the bring your own beer scenic walk along a dirt road to be paved over and constructed?
